In early August, some sweet potatoes and potatoes from the grocery store started to sprout in my house so I decided to put them in the ground to see what would happen. The 3 sweet potatoes exploded into a bush and the potatoes grew into small leafy plants. I dug some of them up for Thanksgiving and here's the result! Each potato sprouted from itself many tiny potatoes. The sweet potatoes need to stay in the ground a bit longer. Keep posted.
